Medieval Italy promotes the artistic heritage, the traditions and the historical events of each destination to underline the strong link with the medieval origins.
The enhancement of lesser known artistic beauties (such as castles, palaces or towers), the promotion of events such as horse rides, historical parades, re-enactments, can in fact lead to the identification of a new way of “doing tourism”, involving that target-audience interested in history and in the opportunity to immerse themselves in it.
The identification of historical tourism as a new distinctive lever of territorial growth is therefore one of the missions of Medieval Italy, which firmly believes in the possibility of reading in the Middle Ages not only a past to be rediscovered but also an unexpected tourist perspective.
